  We had breakfast here one morning during our vacation. I was blown away by the fresh homemade bread that came with it! Everything was delicious. Great greasy spoon, your place to eat the morning after a Newfie night. Nice views of the harbour too.

  This is a must go to place for fish and chips. The bet I have ever had. While we were there they brought fresh fish in. I asked and was told the the fish was probably in the ocean an hour ago that was how fresh it was. :))

  Maybe it wasn't tourist season but I could not understand the lack of fish dishpan. The staff is very helpful and always smiling. The decor lacked, it is simply a place to eat that happens to have a great view

  Incredibly rude and sarcastic staff. We are not from around here and we were treated as if we were supposed to know everything. Very reluctant to help us through the process. We had to seat ourselves and we found out minutes later that we had been refused service because we were too loud walking in. It was explained to us that "This is a family restaurant." We are three guys and one girl, ages 18, 22, 21, and 21. We are very respectful and kind hearted people. The moment we walked through that door we were judged by our looks because we were wearing leather jackets from riding our bikes. We left abruptly and will not be returning. One of the worst restaurant service I have ever gone through and I am an avid traveler. We traveled further down the road and found a Tim Horton's which had friendly staff and great food for what it is.
